This lowering operation is intended to allow me to write a more concise and clear mapping from the graph to XIRF, without having to worry about balancing tags, which really complicated the implementation. This has details docs; see that for more information. I can't help but be reminded of Wisp (the whitespace-based Lisp-like syntax).
